At Pickard Land Co, we grow Hard Red Winter Wheat, a high-protein variety used for bread, hard baked goods, pastry flour and brewing. It is particularly well-suited to be sprouted as wheat grass, which can then be used as a nutritious addition to drinks and other foods.


We grow dryland corn at Pickard Land Co. The vast majority of corn grown in the United States is sold as either feed to the livestock industry or to be used in the production of biofuels. 


Thousands of acres of Pickard Land Co. are pasture land, vast fields of native grass perfect for grazing and currently utilized by tenants for raising cattle.


As part of our commitment to good stewardship of the land, Pickard Land Co. has hundreds of acres of land currently enrolled in Conservation programs with the USDA.
